David, (bass trombone) was born in Glasgow in Scotland and studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London .

He was the winner of the 1983 Shell/LSO brass competition and has been a member of the Academy of St Martin-in-the Field and London Philharmonic orchestras.

Live appearances include: Quincy Jones, Kenny Wheeler, Mike Gibbs, John Surman and Natalie Cole. Films: Lord of the Rings (complete) plus the last five James Bond movies and Star Wars III to name but a few. He is also a member of London Brass

David has also played for many popular artists - albums include Robbie Williams, Elton John, Annie Lennox, Joni Mitchell, S Club 7 and S Club Juniors!
