Andy Crowley was born in London in 1962 and studied at the Royal Academy of Music. An outstanding young musician, Andy was a noted Park Lane Soloist (an
award/ recital given to promising young artists) before rising to become the Principal trumpet with English Chamber Orchestra and London Sinfonietta.
He is a respected freelance studio artist and soloist and has performed at
many major European festivals as well as in London with the aforementioned orchestras in concertos by Michael & Joseph Haydn and Hummel & Marcello.
Andy's impressive live performance record includes concertos for
Classic FM and many TV and Film appearances including over 100 Soundtracks for films such as Harry Potter, Shrek, James Bond 007 in Die Another Day, Chicken Run and The Legend of Bagger Vance.
He has also played live in
concert and recorded for Quincy Jones, Ornette Coleman, Joni Mitchell, Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams and Tom Jones and when not performing with London Brass, world superstars such as Sting or recording for the current James Bond
Soundtrack amongst all the Film work he does, Andy somehow finds some time to teach at the Royal College of Music in London! |
