After earning his musical degrees from the university of southern California and the New England Conservatory, David quickly moved up the ranks in L.A. He is principal trumpet in the Los Angeles Chamber, Pasadena Pops, California Philharmonic, Los Nageles Opera Orchestra. He is also on the faculty of several southern California Colleges and Universaties.

Although he maintains a hectic schedual, he still finds time to be a top-flight studio trumpeter. Some of his credits include: "Pearl Harbor", "Titanic", "The perfect Storm", "Ransom", "Deep impact"
