Moved to Los Angeles in 1980, since then has worked in more than 960 motion pictures,over 1300 cartoon shows, such as Titoons, Anamaniacs, and on most of the Disney cartoons.

Rick has been the first trumpet on the Academy Awards shows for 22 years and the Emmy Award show for 11 years.
