Born and raised in New Orleans, Warren started playing trumpet when he was 10 years old. By age 12 continuing the rich tradition of trumpeters of that city, Warren was playing dixieland jobs around town with the likes of Al Hirt and Pete Fountain. From 1958 to 1961, while still in his teens, he was a regular soloist on the Lawrence Welk show.
in 1964, Warren joined the U.S. Army Norad Band and stayed for three years. Afterwards, he settled in Los Angeles, since the late 60's, he earnd a reputation as one of the most respected studio trumpeters -- Equally comfortable in both the jazz and classical worlds.
Some of his credits include " X-men2", "the Glass house", "Dragonfly", "Bruce Almighty".
